TradeSpark Technologies (“TradeSpark Technologies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the TradeSpark mobile application, TradeSpark website, and related services handle information.

Information TradeSpark May Collect

TradeSpark is an educational and training application for skilled trades.

Depending on how you use TradeSpark, we may process the following information:

Training and quiz information. TradeSpark may record quiz results, lesson progress, scores, and similar training activity so features such as progress tracking can function. Some progress information is stored locally on your device. Certain quiz-result information may also be transmitted to TradeSpark's backend infrastructure for application operation, testing, security, and product improvement.

Information you voluntarily provide. If you contact TradeSpark Technologies, join a beta or mailing list, submit feedback, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive information such as your name, email address, message, and product interests.

Technical information. Our website, hosting providers, application infrastructure, and service providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as device or browser characteristics, application requests, diagnostic information, and approximate geographic information derived from network activity where applicable.

TradeSpark does not ask users to submit passwords, government identification numbers, medical records, or payment-card information through its training features.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• provide lessons, quizzes, progress features, and other TradeSpark functionality;
• operate and maintain TradeSpark;
• troubleshoot errors and improve reliability;
• protect TradeSpark against misuse or abuse;
• evaluate and improve training content and product features;
• respond to support requests and feedback;
• communicate with users who voluntarily request product or beta updates; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

Translation and Voice Features

TradeSpark includes text translation and text-to-speech features.

English and Spanish lesson translation currently uses Google ML Kit's on-device translation technology. Translation model processing is designed to occur on the user's device. TradeSpark may also use the device's text-to-speech services to read lesson content aloud.

Machine-generated translations may contain errors. Users should verify safety-critical instructions, measurements, technical terminology, code requirements, and regulatory information before relying on translated material in the field.

Third-Party Service Providers

TradeSpark may use third-party service providers to operate parts of the application and website.

These may include infrastructure, database, hosting, email, translation, application-distribution, and related technology providers, including services such as Supabase, Google ML Kit, and Google Play.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to TradeSpark Technologies or as otherwise described in their own applicable privacy terms.

TradeSpark Technologies does not sell personal information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell users' personal information.

Information may be disclosed:

• to service providers that help operate TradeSpark;
• when necessary to protect users, TradeSpark Technologies, or our services;
• when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; or
• as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or transfer of company assets, subject to applicable law.

Security

TradeSpark Technologies uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet-connected service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating TradeSpark, maintaining appropriate business records, addressing security issues, and complying with legal obligations.

Locally stored application information may be removed when application data is cleared or the application is uninstalled, subject to the behavior of the user's device and operating system.

Data Access, Correction, and Deletion

Users may contact TradeSpark Technologies to ask questions about information they have voluntarily provided or to request correction or deletion where applicable.

TradeSpark currently does not require users to create a personal TradeSpark account for the core training experience. If account functionality is introduced later, this Privacy Policy and any required account-deletion process will be updated accordingly.

Children

TradeSpark is designed for skilled-trades education and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through TradeSpark. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Educational and Safety Information

TradeSpark provides educational material and training tools. It is not a substitute for qualified supervision, employer safety programs, applicable laws, codes, licensing requirements, manufacturer instructions, or professional judgment.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TradeSpark features, service providers, legal obligations, or data practices change.

When we update it, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
